For casino security and compliance teams. Watch restricted areas and cash points with zone and dwell rules, count the people in view of each floor camera, and keep an audit trail of who reviewed what. Exclusion-list matching depends on face comparison, which is not offered in the current release.

This sector is in our industry directory rather than among the six primary markets. We have not developed a full workflow or pilot plan for it yet.
Where it is used
Who it is for
- Surveillance and security manager
- Compliance lead
Restricted areas
An entry to a cash area or back office during closed hours.
Floor counts
People counted in each floor camera's view, with thresholds.
Review trail
Each mark on an alert kept with the name of the person who made it, and searches by plate, scene description and route recorded.
Events of interest
Events for entrances, cash areas and the floor.
Each says what it needs and where it stops. The rules you set on a camera raise these events, and the alerts that go with them.
Restricted-area access
A person enters a room, floor or yard at a time when entry is restricted.
- When
- A person enters the zone outside the permitted hours.
- Limit
- The rule knows the time, not the person: it cannot tell an authorised entry from an unauthorised one.
Loitering
A person stays in an area longer than the time you set.
- When
- Time inside the zone passes the limit.
- Limit
- If a person is lost and found again, the timer can restart, so long stays may be reported late.
Crowd gathering
More people are in a camera's view at once than the number you set.
- When
- The count of people in the camera's view reaches the threshold.
- Limit
- A count of people the camera can see, not a calibrated density and not a count inside a drawn zone. People hidden behind others are not counted.
Occupancy threshold
The number of people or vehicles in a camera's view reaches the capacity you set.
- When
- The count of the chosen object type reaches the threshold.
- Limit
- It counts what one camera can see, so a space covered by several cameras needs a rule on each.
Dwell limit reached
A person or vehicle stays in an area, such as a bay or a service point, beyond the time you set.
- When
- Time inside the zone passes the limit.
- Limit
- An event at the limit, not a report of how long people stay.
Plate on watchlist
A plate that is read matches an entry on your organisation's watchlist.
- When
- A plate read matches a watched plate exactly, with commonly confused characters treated as the same, or within one character.
- Limit
- A plate that cannot be read cannot be matched. A near match must be compared by a person before anyone acts.
Use cases
What casino security and compliance teams use it for.
What the current release does for this kind of site.
Restricted-area entry
An alert, linked to the sighting's still, when a person enters a cash area or back office
Dwell near cash areas
An event when someone stays beyond a set time. Dwell is not evidence of wrongdoing
Floor occupancy
People counted in each floor camera's view, with thresholds
Car-park vehicle search
Find a vehicle by type, colour or plate
Review trail
Changes, and searches by plate, scene description and route, recorded with who made them
What it needs
- Zones drawn for cash areas and back offices, with their hours
- Named roles for the people allowed to search, and a written policy on how long records are kept
Boundaries
- Dwell and movement events do not establish fraud, collusion or advantage play.
- Matching faces against an exclusion list or a watchlist is not offered in the current release.
- Guest recognition for service is not offered.
Capabilities used
The same platform. Different rules.
Each site gets its own cameras, modules and rules. Nothing is custom-built; everything is configured.
